What we use
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use an analytics tool. There is nothing here to consent to, which is why you are not asked to — a banner demanding permission for tracking that does not happen is how people learn to click through the ones that matter.
At most two small things are stored on your device, both in your browser’s local storage rather than as cookies. If you dismiss the notice at the bottom of the screen, one entry remembers that, so it does not reappear on every page. If you close the mailing-list pop-up or join the list, another remembers that, so we do not ask again for 30 days — or at all, once you have joined. Neither is a cookie, neither is ever sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes both.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address. If you would rather avoid this, the fonts can be self-hosted instead.
The Studios
If you use the Website Studio, the System Studio or the Management Check, your answers — and your logo, if you upload one — are kept in your browser’s local storage as you go, so you can close the page and pick up where you left off. That copy stays on your device. Nothing you enter is sent to us until you press a button that says it will be, such as Request this website or Email my concept, and what happens to it then is set out in the privacy notice. Choosing Start again, or clearing your browser data, removes it.
If you ask us to email you a link back to your concept, we keep your concept with your name and email so the link can reopen it, and your browser keeps the link’s key next to your answers so later changes save to the same concept. The link stops working 90 days after your last change. A saved concept you never send us is deleted on the same schedule as any other enquiry.
If analytics is added later
If we add an analytics tool in future, this page will be updated to name it and a consent banner will be added before it runs.
The mailing list
If you give us your email address for occasional updates, we store that address, your name if you give it, the wording you agreed to, and when you agreed to it — so that what you consented to is a matter of record rather than something we reconstruct later. How long we keep it is set out in the privacy notice. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click without signing in, and unsubscribing does not affect anything else about your account or services.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings.
