Home · How It Works

From idea to launch.

Five stages. You'll know what happens at each one, what you get at the end of it, and what it costs before we start building.

The process

Five stages, start to finish.

  1. Discovery

We talk through what your organisation does, what you're running on today, where the problems are, what you're aiming for, and who has to use the thing every day. Usually this is a conversation and a look at your current spreadsheets — no preparation needed.

  2. Blueprint

We map your workflows, user journeys, required functionality and the information behind them. You get a written scope with a price and a timeline before any code exists, so there are no surprises later.

  3. Design

We design the interfaces, dashboards and mobile screens to your brand. You see exactly what you're getting and we change it while changing it is easy.

  4. Build

We develop the working product, sharing progress on a private link as we go. You're never waiting months for a big reveal that turns out to be wrong.

  5. Launch & support

Testing, data migration from your old systems, staff training and go-live — then ongoing support as your requirements change. You get your own client portal to raise changes and follow them through. We don't hand over a zip file and disappear.

Pricing

Every project is different.

We'll understand what you need first, then provide a clear proposal and project cost. No hourly billing you can't predict, and no price quoted before we know what we're building.

Fixed scope, fixed price

You approve a written scope and a cost before the build starts.

Staged payments

Payment is spread across the project rather than demanded up front.

Honest answers

If an off-the-shelf tool would genuinely serve you better, we'll say so.

Common questions

Before you get in touch.

We don't have anyone technical. Is that a problem?

No — most of the organisations we work with don't. We handle the technical side and explain decisions in plain English.

How long does it take?

It depends entirely on scope, which is why we won't guess before discovery. You'll get a date in the written proposal.

What happens to our existing data?

We migrate it. Spreadsheets, exports from an old system, even paper records — bringing your history across is part of the launch stage.

Do we own what you build?

Yes. Ownership terms are set out in the proposal before you commit to anything.

Included as standard

And then there's stage six.

The one nobody puts in a process diagram: the years afterwards. Every client gets their own portal, so asking for a change never means writing an email and hoping.

Client portal · Included with every project

You always know where things stand.

Most agencies hand you a login to somebody else's control panel and hope you never use it. We built the opposite: a portal that answers the questions you actually have, in the words you'd actually use.

  • Your website, domain and email in one place
  • Request a change in a minute, from any device
  • Follow it from received to done, without chasing
  • Renewal dates long before they become a surprise
  • Every message about a job kept with the job
  • No hosting panels, no DNS records, nothing to install

The first conversation is free and there's no commitment attached to it.
